Addyisms

Well, my mom, Adeline and I were downtown yesterday for a girls morning.  We had a wonderful breakfast at the Palmetto Grill and then did a little shopping.  While at the market we were looking around the Wonder Works booth.  I know this will sound like I am bragging on my child, but hey, I am allowed to do that from time to time, right?  Anyway, any of you that know Adeline knows that she never meets a stranger.  This is one thing that I love about her but also one thing that kinda makes this momma a little nervous.  Well, she was talking up a storm to the sweet girl working there.  Finally the girl said, "I wish I had a video camera and I could follow you around all day, all the time and just record the funny things you say.  I am sure you have lots of stuff to say."  Then she said she would publish a blog called "Out of the mouth of Adeline".  Obviously I can't call my blog that because I have another cute, sweet, smart little boy but I do want to document here a couple "Addyisms"...
The other day I made her a snack and all the food looked like a pumpkin (something I saw on Pintrest).  When I asked her if she liked her snack she said "Are you kitten me, I LOVED it".  Instead of kidding she said kitten.
When her sweet little brother scratched her across the face and I told her I needed to put some medicine on it she said "Please don't put that cloroxide on it".  Cloroxide for her is peroxide.
And one day she and my mom were going down the street and Adeline was asking about the electricity and how it got to houses.  Mom showed her the power lines and was explaining electricity in 5 year old language.  When mom was done Adeline looked over and said "I thought they made those wires for birds to sit on".  My sweet little girl :)

And a little something about my sweet boy Luke's vocabulary...
Airpane - airplane
Baboon - vacuum
guck-guck - dump truck
nigh-night - night night
baneice - denise
aneice - Alyce

And one picture because a blog post is pretty boring without one...
